Billy Crystal returns to hosting duties in the Shrine Auditorium. Kevin Spacey became the 10th performer to win both the leading and supporting acting Oscars following the footsteps in past winners such as Robert DeNiro, Helen Hayes, Jack Lemmon, and Ingrid Bergman.
